In Bordeaux, Soyuz — an internationally recognized popping dancer — is carving out a singular path at the crossroads of art and technology.

He discovered dance at 17. It was a revelation. Captivated by popping’s precision and its robotic illusions, he committed himself with discipline until he earned a place on the international stage. Titles followed: Hip Hop Session, World of Dance Spain, Summer Dance Forever, Red Bull Dance Your Style France.

But behind the performance, another reality set in. Like many artists, Soyuz faced precariousness and the lack of structure in the scene. In 2021, he made a decisive choice: retrain as a web developer. A pragmatic move — and a strategic one.

Far from pulling him away from dance, this new skill became leverage. It let him rethink the ecosystem, build tools, imagine platforms and structure projects with impact.

From that double culture, M.A.U.N (Maison des Arts Urbains et du Numérique) was born in 2024. An initiative in his image, blending artistic creation and digital innovation, with one clear goal: support dancers in becoming professionals and open new perspectives for them.

Through the association, he launched Explore, an international mobility program designed as an Erasmus for urban cultures. The ambition: let young dancers live a stay abroad, transmit their craft and grow through contact with other scenes.

In 2024, he led a first tour in China. Over three weeks, French dancers met hundreds of young artists, gave classes, took part in competitions and built lasting bridges between local scenes. In 2025, he organized a three-week trip with 15 dancers from Bordeaux and Marseille.

Today Soyuz still wears both hats: web developer by day, professional dancer at night and on weekends.

His path tells a contemporary story — that of a generation inventing its own models, able to reinvent itself without giving up its passions.
